A personal identity site: what I build, what I’m exploring, and the principles behind the work.

There are professional bios that try to sound complete, and there are working lives that keep changing. This site is closer to the second. It is a living snapshot of the businesses, technologies, experiments, ideas and questions occupying my attention.

What I do01 / 06

I’m leading OTLEN.

OTLEN builds AI infrastructure for revenue operations in healthcare and biotech.

We connect EHR, revenue cycle and laboratory systems into one data core, use AI models to predict where revenue will leak, and trigger the follow-up work before it does. Decisions that need clinical or financial judgment stay with people.

What I enjoy most is turning vague problems into working systems. That can be a business process, a software prototype, a content engine, a research workflow or an operating model.

The first version is rarely beautiful. It needs to work well enough to teach us what the next version should be.

How I think02 / 06

I’m drawn to leverage.

I would rather build and test an idea than debate it in the abstract. The ideas worth building are the ones with leverage.

One system
that removes a hundred repetitive actions.
One clear interface
that makes a complicated process obvious.
One automation
that lets a focused team work with the reach of a much larger one.
One systemA hundred repetitive actions
What I’m interested in03 / 06

I’m interested in AI, revenue and healthcare.

The same themes keep returning, inside the company and outside it.

  1. Artificial intelligence

Claude-based agents across hospital systems and private clinics. In June 2026 OTLEN was invited to join Anthropic’s Claude Partner Network.

  2. Automation

Agents carry the routine handoffs between systems. Decisions that need clinical or financial judgment stay with people.

  3. Healthcare technology

EHR, revenue cycle and laboratory systems connected into one data core.

  4. Revenue operations

Predicting where revenue will leak, from denied claims to unbilled services, and starting the follow-up early.

  5. Software infrastructure

Systems that hospitals and research teams can rely on for a decade.

  6. Content systems

Reports, bylines and interviews, including The $350 Billion Bleed, OTLEN’s 2025 report on revenue cycle leakage.

  7. The economics of focused teams

How a focused team can operate with the reach of a much larger one.

  8. The common thread is simple: how can technology make capable people dramatically more effective?

Operating philosophy04 / 06

I’m moving fast enough to learn.

OUTCOME
  1. 01Move quickly enough to learn.
  2. 02Keep the feedback loop short.
  3. 03Make the first version rough if it has to be.
  4. 04Measure what matters.
  5. 05Delete what does not.
  6. 06Once something works, make it simpler.

The point of a system is not to admire the system. It is to produce the outcome.

Current map05 / 06

I’m building, testing and writing in parallel.

This site is deliberately broader than a résumé. It connects the personal side of the work with the experiments behind it: projects being built, ideas being tested, things being written, and lessons that are useful outside any single company.

Contact06 / 06

I’m easy to reach.

A useful personal site should make the person easier to understand, and no harder to reach.
